| Physical and Chemical Properties | The appearance is white powder, insoluble in water, density 2-3g/cm3, non-toxic, no irritating effect on the skin, no harmful heavy metal elements such as lead and chromium; good thermal stability. Tripolyphosphate ion P3O105-can have stronger chelating force with various metal ions, forming an excellent passivation film on the surface of the coated object, which has a strong inhibitory effect on the corrosion of steel and light metals, and the color of the coating can be adjusted freely. |
| Use | Aluminum tripolyphosphate is widely used in all kinds of primer and bottom coating, and has good affinity with varnish. It can be used with various pigments and fillers, and can also be used with various anti-rust pigments. Suitable for phenolic resin, alkyd resin, epoxy resin, epoxy polyester and acrylic resin and other solvent-based coatings and a variety of water-soluble resin coatings (such as: high adaptability of waterborne epoxy ester coating, etc.); it can also be applied with thick paste coating, powder coating, organic titanium anti-corrosion coating, rust coating and varnish, zinc-rich primer, fire-retardant coating, heat-resistant coating and so on. |
